What is your 'story' around your inability to get healthy and lean?
See, we all have stories....but these stories are your beliefs, and beliefs are NOT truth. It is simply the 'story' you put around something, to give it meaning.
And often we make these 'stories' to keep ourselves safe, secure, but this also equates to staying Small....to not bring in change where change is begging to come in.
We are Meaning Making Machines, remember. Our brains want to create a story around a circumstance, person, event, to make it 'linear', and it fits into your view of the world.
Whatever you believe, you are right. It is your truth, and you will get more of what you believe in, because your beliefs are creating a Self Fulfilling Prophecy, you are drawing 'evidence' to make your story right.
But this is just the brain's way of calming itself, my making a story, and trying to be 'right' (see, even your brain wants to be 'right).
But it is NOT reality. You are feeding your own beliefs, that you have crafted in your life.
That is why we challenge our stories...'it's hard', 'I will fail', 'I failed before, so it will happen again', 'I'm not worthy', 'I've tried every diet, it won't work', or the classic that I hear (and bust down ALL the TIME...'it's too hard'!
No it's not. You have created a struggle around it, you are IN the struggle. That's is a habit of yours. And the story follows...
Stories, stories, stories.....around fat loss, exercise, personal growth. You have crafted them unconsciously, and they run the show unconsciously.
That is why we are 'waking up', we are becoming conscious. We are 'seeing' with a different set of glasses, a fresh, open set of glasses.
But be aware, not everyone WANTS to see things clearly. These are the un-victorious, the victims, the ones that want to stay 'comfy', that don't want to take responsibility, that don't want to 'feel' anything 'bad' (but in reality, their whole life is living within this blah, negative feeling).
Not wanting to move into the uncomfortable, and to sometimes feel that which you don't want to feel, is ok. It's normal. It's called being human. Expect it.
It is when someone stays stuck, feet in the mud, and refuses to move...that is the sadness, the reality of many, many women, many, many people who 'say' they want change, but will not take the necessary steps to get there.
Any health and wellness program MUST give you the tools to go where your spirit and your Greatness wants you to go to...that is why we are here, on this Earth, to be Great, to be Light Warriors, carving and crafting a new way, to live from this beautiful place from this day forward.
Then the food and movement become tools of self love, they define her in fresh, empowering ways, and she takes them on willingly.
It is an Awesome life, when you live with Courage, Commitment and Consistency.
