The reason you can’t lose the weight or stay on track with your training is for one reason only: your beliefs are not in line with your goals.
Say, for example, your goal is to lose 30, 40, 80 pounds...
But your inner critic is saying:
- You've tried this before, and it always comes back on, who are you kidding?...
- You've failed before, it's gonna happen again...
- All our family has weight issue, it's your lineage...
- It's going to be hard / no fun / restrictive...
- If I lose weight, it's going to challenge my marriage...
- My family will pick on me for losing the weight...
- I'll need a lot of time to do all of this, how will I find the time?
- Who am I without all this excess weight?
- I only know how to diet, can I really just live freely with food?
If these thoughts are creating the undercurrent in your brain, you simply will not lose the weight and keep it off. Full Stop.
This is where a shift in your Self Identity, your Beliefs is required.
See, it's not about the outer stuff - calories, macro's, food choices, portions, timing....that's the easy part, really (and my team gets that done in about 48 hours)
What's required here is a cognitive restructuring, a rewiring of your thought habits, and raising your frequency from disempowered (aka frustration, guilt, shame, anger, regret...), to learning to operate and 'think' from a higher emotional level each and every day - with ease, freedom, self love, awareness, clarity, commitment
and vision.
It's that simple.
Decide to do it differently this spring, ladies.
Let's stop waking up every morning, hoping today it will be different, only to have it crash all around you later in the day, when the 'bewitching hour' hits, and you reward yourself with a little bit extra here and there...some ice cream, chips, alcohol, crackers and cheese...
And this only puts you back down into the Shame / Guilt cycle....a place you know well (and so too does your body, and so it unconsciously returns you there, because it is your comfort zone).
Live above the horizon ladies. You simply cannot create health and energy from a disempowered place. "When I lose the weight, I'll feel better" needs to be turned around....
"When you feel better...empowered, confident, alive, connected...you will lose the weight.
And then everything else in your life begins to flow and feel wonderful...because that's how this inner stuff works!
