When your DIET stops working, what should you do...
- When the weight won't stay off, in fact, the weight is climbing higher...

This is what is being taught in mainstream gyms, diet cultures, Instagram, TikTok...but here's the deal...
You are 40+ NOW! So calorie cuts, keto, HIIT (Oh brother, please get rid of the HIIT), fasting, apps....they won't work for you!
Here's the truth of what I have seen for over 30 years in the business of physique transformation, weight loss, metabolism and healthy ageing...
Our 'vintage' bodies are different. Our needs are different. But sadly, most trainers (they call themselves coaches but they are NOT coaches, it requires a certain level of expertise to earn that badge) are teaching the wrong things. Why?
Because the Industry is leading them...and trainers and so-called coaches are lime lemmings...just following the crowd...
THEY are not the experts, they are following what everyone else is doing.
And as I always say, if the majority is doing it, it's the best reason to NOT do it.
Stats prove that 95% of all people who embark on a weight loss journey will gain it all back - and MORE weight- in 3 years.
And in fact, most people lose and gain the same weight 8 times over...
And this does a number on your metabolism - it becomes hypervigilant and so is less willing to let go of the excess weight with every attempt...this is SURVIVAL mode it is in.
It also does a number on your health and biochemistry...the body is NOT supposed to go through just swings in food, weight, etc...it becomes exhausted and the immune system begins to falter..
And of course it does a number on your psyche, your willpower and your self esteem. This is where most women who have had many ill attempts at building health and losing weight live in what I call that 'shame / guilt' cycle.... they try, fail, try again, fail, then lose faith, get frustrated...they are living from this place in their heads 24/7...
But still, we go back and try again...(women are sooo resilient and tenacious!). And again...another failed attempt, then the weight begins to slowly come back on, the resolve begins to melt, the frustration begins to build, the 'oh no, it's not working again' seeps in...
Back down we tumble, back into feeling shame, guilt, anger...
And now, with this negative energy, this feeds the body, the metabolism, washing the cells in this toxic, heavy load of negativity....because Energy matters.
Let me say that again: ENERGY MATTERS.
Everything is about ENERGY.
And as the years go by, we wonder why we can't just 'get it right', right?
Then throw in hormonal shifts that begin in our 40's and can last till our 60's and beyond (yep!), which creates a sympathetic and chronic stress level in the body that adds into the stress of calorie cuts, keto, HIIT, cardio....which all elevate this in the body which acidifies the body, raises cortisol, drains our energy and doesn't allow the body to lose fat the way it is meant to...
Do you see how this goes?
This isn't about working HARDER. That only magnifies the problem you already have in your body...making your body a fat-hoarding, muscle wasting machine...the exact opposite of what you DO NOT want.
It's about working DIFFERENTLY. And it's not hard. It becomes easy, and actually enjoyable, as you learn to get in alignment and balance again with your own body.
It's time you started seeing results.
