Let's think about it for a
minute...
Many women carry the persona of several long-standing archetypes that we have adopted, just in the very act of being female and moving through the decades as mothers, wives, workers, daughters....
So if I were to offer up the various 'masks' that we share, I am certain you could relate:
People
Pleaser
Busy Bee
Good wife / daughter
Perfectionist
Wallflower
Wounded woman
All or Nothing
Rebel
Queen Bee.
All are masks or persona's (today's new-agey thing is calling it the Imposter Syndrome). As we move through life, our 'stories of survival' mount up, until we find ourselves living from our Wounded Self, not our Authentic Self.
And our boundaries are often watery, malleable and we give away too much of our power...
Hence, we feel resentful, tired, frustrated, sad, depressed...
Without having healthy boundaries, we wallow in these feelings, and year after year, they become a part of our conditioning, our patterns and they make up our belief system. We are living from the disempowered energy of shame, guilt, anger and victimhood. How then, can we possibly feel empowered around our food, our weight, our
bodies....
Instead, when we are fed up, tired, listless and wondering where our life went, we turn to our 'check outs' for comfort - food, alcohol,
It's not enough to 'know' intellectually what is going on, it requires a shift in psychology that opens us up to new energies, new possibilities, updating our belief system (and our self worth!) and creating a strong, vibrant Self
Identity NOT based in the past anymore (all of these archetypes are layers of our past coming back to play out in our present world).
This takes a certain level of acumen that shifts the client from 'down there' to 'up there'. And when we are shedding the weight of our unconscious conditioning and patterns, fresh energy and a new vitality can come in. And in this place, we no longer have sugar cravings, or buy into another trendy diet
(because it's really not about the food, not really) or get caught up in endless formulas and numbers (we eat food, not numbers).
And we want to train and move our bodies because it feels good!
In short, we Want to Be Well, stemming from the Inside Out.
We claim our boundaries, our bodies,
our health and our choices. We are strong, rooted and confident. We have healthy self esteem and we 'love ourselves into health' as I say (when was the last time you said you loved yourself?).
We don't let others, circumstances, events, perspectives take us down that rabbit hole because we have sealed it up!
P-O-W-E-R-F-U-L stuff! Powerful living!
Thank you Mastery ladies for an invigorating, enlightening and consciousness-raising class. You are truly 'getting it' and stepping in, clearing out and refilling with a new mindset rooted in Who You Are and Who you are Becoming.
And your bodies, your health, your weight and your awareness are all reflecting back to us the miracle of what is possible, when you combine food, movement and mindset into a
Lifestyle to be proud of, and that allows you to learn, grow, embrace and live from what we call that 30,000' view.
And a cookie just becomes a cookie again...sitting there on the plate, alone, uninvited, because you are clear in who you are, who and what you let in, and what empowers you to say 'no' when you mean no, and know that you are building self love with every decision that is rooted in your self worth, not in
survival.
The cookie (or ice cream or chips) no longer have control over you, because you are becoming a Master of your body, your health, your power, your boundaries, your future and your life. It's simply where we are supposed to live from, for a healthy, rich life.
Welcome home. :)
XO!
