The reason you have not been successful (up till now) is that you have attached meaning to the idea of your health, weight, body shape and all that it entails....here's what you're saying to yourself...
'It's gonna be hard'
"I've been here
before...'
"It's going to be restrictive"
"I will miss out..."
"I will fail again..."
"How long do I have to keep doing this?"
This is where we need to craft new stories and a new belief system to
create that 'soil' where the roots of your new lifestyle program can grow, with ease, confidence and results!.
This is not just about motivation or willpower (I've come to really dislike those two words).
It doesn't mean you have you white knuckle your way through the food plan to get the weight off....holding on for dear life, just waiting for the weight to drop, the
plan to end, so you can get on with your life.
Your underlying resistance is the fuel that is moving you forward, but it is a push / pull energy, baked in self recrimination, damming yourself and beating yourself into submission.
Can ANYTHING work from this energy? No, you just create more guilt, shame and frustration.
UGH! Soooo many women living in this place of Suffering and Struggle, and they simply are NOT present in their own life.
It's not hard. Your belief system is telling you this.
It's not 'not fun'. Your belief system is telling you this.
But 'I've been dieting for 30 years, it will be
hard to turn that thinking around'.
No. It's not hard. It's about reprogramming your computer in your head. We need to update your Operating System, is all.
Oh, and you can't do it yourself, because you can't see the forest for the trees. You are living in the trees.
Or let's use another metaphor: you can't read the label
from inside the jar. (I do like this one!)
That's why it hasn't been working for you. You can't be objective with yourself. And you've been living in that mindspace your entire life. It's your 'normal', and your psyche is not going to just let you give it up or change things at random.
So you need someone skilled in doing so, with a keen background in human psychology, human
behaviour, AND she knows nutrition, food, movement and lifestyle for women your age (40+) and women who all share the same challenges of life: family, stress, mid life stuff...you know, all that stuff that can easily rock us off our high horse.
That's what our Mastery Program is all about. Yes, we teach proper food, timing, macro's and training programs over the 4 months.
But
on-going mindset is a dedication to a craft that very few people understand, or indulge in. (That's the part that I love, and the part that is the most interesting - and freeing - for every woman that comes into the program. That is where the huge 'aha' moments break through, and real awareness, clarity and momentum begins...
We change the meaning of our stories, and the structure of the brain. Whew! Cool!
So let me leave you with this little offering: consider what you see as Pleasure and what you see as Painful.
Write it down. Get real with your subconscious.
And then book a call. We'll get real. We'll get underneath it all, and bring it to the light of day.
You can't change what you can't
see. It's like trying to find a sock in the dark.
So you bring it up into awareness, and you begin to craft a new way, a fresh way, a new structure that propels you FORWARD into living and thinking differently, and towards a real body transformation and a new relationship with food and self that is empowering, that sticks!
