trap.
So they often STOP trying because they don't want to feel that sinking feeling again.
Over and over again...sometimes for years, right?
I get it.
Fear of failure is often unconscious, but it's one of the biggest self-limiting beliefs that stop
us.
Especially if they have tried for years, with every weight loss attempt or workout program that has not resulted in any real sustainable change…
What we need to do is acknowledge it, and then REFRAME what failure looks like.
Here’s my definition: Failure is only when you stop trying and spend years
beating yourself up, living in a body you don't love.
Insert a Reframe: When you fail, we can use that as feedback - assess what went wrong, change your approach and step back in with a change in your strategy - THAT is success.
Any successful person knows this process, and accepts it as the way through to real change.
I call it 'bouncability'....bouncing back and stepping back in with a fresh strategy and a changed mindset.
