Here's the deal...
We need carbs to build shapely, sexy muscle, especially if we are over 40. And we need them to lose the weight and boost our metabolism too, and to balance blood sugars and hunger.
Problem is, demonizing carbs has become popular again.
Years ago, it was sugar.
Then salt.
Then fat.
Now women are all wrapped up in 'carb fear'.
And it's doing all sorts of nasty things....it's stealing their energy.
They have brain fog.
And they're crabby!
Plus the classic bingeing that low carb-ers fall into is classic...because they are literally starving their bodies of vital nutrients.
Their metabolisms are tanked because carbs are the 'fuel' for burning fat. This causes their body to compensate and gain even MORE fat!
I talk to women every day that are stuck in low carb or keto eating because they think it'll be the answer to their weight loss woes.
It's not.
Even after experiencing low carb failure after failure, they can't give it up. It's kinda becomes an eating addiction....
And low carbing women can't exercise properly to create nice shape and tone because they don't have the energy...AND the body is using muscle for fuel anyway! So it's like they're swimming upstream.
