The very Defense mechanisms that are causing you to NOT get the body transformation results you want are the same ones that I see on every coaching call I do...
Fear.....
A sense of unworthiness....
Blaming or making excuses....(This is less prominent...most
women know it is THEMSELVES who is standing in their own way)
It's never, EVER about needing to know more about macro's, or needing a new food plan, or learning a new gym move (maybe for the odd client that has done all the personal growth stuff first, and now, she just needs the facts.
It's not about the facts. It's not about having more information (information is not transformation).
Never.....although that is first where many women go. They look to the body and think
'If I can just get my body back / lose the excess weight / get shapely and lean, I'll feel better."
But they need to turn it around...'When I feel better, I will lose the excess weight / get lean and shapely."
They have it mixed up in their head, is all. Because many of them are Info Junkies, thinking that they have a body, and access to all the info, and they can put it together themselves...(most women have TOO MUCH info in their brains).
But years go by and they repeat the same pattern over and over again. And nothing change in their physique, because THEY have not changed their approach, and there was no SHIFT internally.
Why? Because the psyche overrides things...
It WANTS you to look to the externals, rather than decide to change its inner Operating System. It doesn't like change. It wants to keep you in your comfort zone, that place that seems familiar, even though it is usually unhealthy, steeped in fear, unworthiness, blame....
So the key is to go exactly where you need to go, to slay those defense mechanisms that you have built up over years.
And to do that, the client most definately needs to invest with a coach / program that knows how to work through this Shit.
It can be messy, confusing yes, but it is a thorough and lasting Shift that helps us to get out of our own way.
Once and for all....to uproot the self sabotaging talk, the Loop of negative thinking and defamatory things you say to yourself..
"You can't do this. You'll fail again."
"You've dieted and lost weight before, but it always comes back on, so you wanna fail again?"
"Face it, that's just ageing. You lost your chance to age well years ago to get a great bod. Now just accept it."
All are untrue. All can Shift. But the client must be willing to Shift, and to Do The Work.
If not, she will stay where she is, in her uncomfortable comfort zone of unworthiness, self blame, self loathing...and the cycle will continue.
I've seen some women on the same Loop for decades, and they loath their bodies, their life (they ARE one and the same).

But on the call, what shows up is always what must be tended to, those defense mechanisms that come up when the Truth of where you're at is revealed, and the necessary steps you need to get to the other side of it.
It isn't hard. It's freeing...and it's do-able.
