Ageing well as a 40+ woman requires a multi faceted approach.
It means crafting a movement program that builds and maintains strength, tone, and flexibility to combat the natural degenerative effects of getting older.
It means creating cellular health from a steady diet of healthy foods.
It means tending to our emotional landscape, to live from love, not fear. To serve, not withhold. To embrace and accept, not reject.
To not pass judgement (and if you feel it within, you can counter it with awareness).
To master the Universal laws that govern all of life,
so as to master your own life and experience
To be in tune with the subtleties of energy, understanding that everything is energy, and being ignorant to this force means we suffer the consequences.
To move into our fear bits with courage, because we understand the gifts on the other side.
To transcend, not tolerate. We refuse to white-knuckle our way through
life.
To not waste time on convincing or defending, but to remain unattached to another's need to be right.
To Walk as If...leaning into that which we wish to manifest in our life.
To halt blaming and complaining, as they are tge weaker energies of self righteousness that we learn to step away from.
To reclaim our bodies
and our health, and do what it takes to love and support these amazing vessels that carry us through this life.
To know without a doubt that we matter deeply....and that everything begins with self love. Everything.
To be silent when others are arguing or lamenting about the state of the world. Our focus dictates our world, and we are careful where and with whom we put our focus in.
To know that we are enough.
To stop hustling for our worthiness.
To master our mindset, because that is the Foundation of all, our Powerhouse.
To be a metaphysician, as we continue to understand energy in all its forms in relation to our health, our dreams, our world.
To see all challenges as
opportunities for growth and to not take them personally.
To respond rather than react.
To know that life doesn't happen TO us, it happens FOR us.
To know our Purpose on this planet, know why we are here and to take responsibility for this offering each and every day.
To Serve.
To not play the Victim, but to be the Victor. To Champion our own life.
The gift of ageing means we begin to see everything through a different lens. But some people see ageing as a time of loss, contraction.
Not me. Not our tribe. We see it as a time of expansion.
It took me over 40 years to 'get it'. But I got it. I leaned in to the
lessons, heeded the call and took up the challenge.
At 62, I'm just getting started...
