Some days it's easier than others...
Tough stuff being thrown at me by crazy
people.
"I can't train today, I'm too stressed" has never been my motto.
I MUST train today, I'm feeling challenged", is where I sit.
My life, like yours, is full.
Challenging.
I get pushed to the brink too.
So I HAVE to train, to stay strong in this crazy life of mine.
That's how I weather the storms.
And there are many...
That's how I outlast the slings and arrows being thrown my way.
'Ain't nothin' gonna break my stride'.....
And see, what meaning we put on it all makes all the difference in the world.
Life is
hard.
Yep. You said it, sister.
So what? I say fight back.
Just know though, that when you are fighting against yourself, and your dreams.
That's not cool...
"It's gonna be hard to lose weight.
I can't eat what I want anymore.
I won't have any fun anymore.
It's going to be boring.
I'll hate the food I'm forced to eat..."
Time to Adult up I'd say (I've said this to many
clients over the years...with love of course).
Look at the meaning you're putting on it already.
"Weights are boring.
I'll hurt myself.
I'll look like a man.
I dont have the time.
I dont like the gym...."
Seriously....what do you WANT?
REALLY....get clear (my guess is you're pretty clear on what you want but you trip over the Action step.
Yeah...its a pretty big step.
But that's how success is built, one step at a time.
That's it.
It's not magic.
But it
works.
It really does.
Age 63, and I'm just getting started...
