I love Fridays.
It's my Refeed day, and I enjoy a good meal and a beer or wine as I coast into the weekend.
And here's the thing...I enjoy it guilt free, with all the
fixings, thank you very much!
Apparently my FB followers follow my Friday refeeds...it's kind of becoming a 'thing'.
See, when you have a strong, working metabolism, you can most certainly eat like this, BUT there is a strategy to it. AND it requires getting the metabolism back on track and humming along nicely,
first.
Most women think their metabolism has halted due to ageing or menopause (or both).
But research doesn't support this. In fact, it only drops 2-3% as we age. It's all the OTHER stuff that we've slowly moved away from that's caused things to slow down.
And challenge and stress most certainly play a role because your body will 'hold on' and go into a chronic sympathetic state that makes it hard to drop the pounds.
That's why my coaching process ALWAYS looks at mindset, lifestyle, unconscious beliefs and patterns, and we work to reframe and transcend the tough things that come our way. It's CRITICAL for physical and emotional
health.
So when a client first comes to me, we start with our Mastery Metabolism Reset (no, no magic supplements or pills...ever!)
It's a Food Set-up that brings your body back into homeostasis (fancy word for balance), and we build your Mastery Food Plan based on your life, your diet history (yes, this matters), and your goals, of
course.
In fact, age has little to do with it (but we do ask you that also...we need to know ALL about you if we're going to build a strong, sustainable Body Transformation Plan moving foward).
Because as 'vintage' women, we don't want to continue to fight with our weight, fight with our food, give in to our cravings, or feeling

We're not robots. And we don't eat numbers or
formulas, we eat Real Food!

And you CAN enjoy a refeed or cheat meal, and let food be food again, as your body begins to 'trust' the process (because it's a 'strategy' now based on building HEALTH, and it's consistent) and it will then allow the weight to drop
off.
It's kind of how the body works..
"Coax the body and it reacts.
Force the body and it rebels".
No more forcing...it's time to work WITH your body, yes?
