I'm often asked if it's too late for a Body Transformation after 40, 50 or 60.The answer is no. However....
It can be harder to reclaim a body at certain aspects of its ageing, and it depends on where you are at in your habits, genetics, lifestyle, your desire to change etc.
The best bodies we see are iften younger women (under
40) and hence, their hormones and ageing parameters have not taken full hold...yet....
Their skin is tighter, muscles are fuller, metabolism is still resilient and working well, hormones are starting to dip likely, but they are not in full force (yet)...
At this younger age, we could all still party all night and STILL go to work and carry on....ah yes, the good old days...we could do anything and we could still rally up the next day...do you remember?
Our bodies were way
more forgiving and workable back then...right?
So this is my point: it's time to get you into a proper food and exercise strategy, fed by a powerful, aligned mindset that has you running on ALL cylinders. THIS is how a beautiful body and life is built.
Most of what's out there is NOT suitable for us 40+ women because age is NOT just a number.
It is NOT about more restriction, more exercise, less calories and more cardio.
It is not HIIT. Circuits, pink dumbells
or body weight moves.
It is not macro's.
It's not intermittent fasting, fasted workouts, more reps, more sets...these are counter productive to us 40+ women.
There is a deeper, and simpler way to manage all of this, one rooted in sustainability (so you don't suffer the do-overs every year that so many women do....and this pattern repeats itself for decades!
The Health Industry wants you to think it's complicated (often putting the blame on one of 2 things: YOU
(you're not trying hard enough) or it's your hormones. UGH! Not another Privitalize ad again! Or wall pilates? Pleeeeaassee!
We need to stop looking at ageing as terrible, a let-down, or a time of confusion and frustration: 'I don't recognize my body anymore, nothing seems to work anymore", is what I have heard for years from hundreds of women....we need to change that damaging narrrative.
Your body is a work of art. It always has been. And we need to honour, respect and support it
in all ways.
We need to 'love ourselves into health', as I always say.
We simply need to get out of our own way, and to get a strategy that works! We need a high-performing eating and training plan built for YOU specifically....then things will turn around for you. You'll see.
It will take time, but that's ok. You need on-going support, accountability, and a coach that cares deeply about your health, and your future years. And that coach speaks from experience,
she walks the walk with you in every way.
I've been in the game for 30 years as a coach, seen it all, done it all, and followed along with the Industry with its ins and out's, it's trends and it's nonsense, but fitness and wellness is in my blood.
I love it.
I love ageing (I didn't always....).
I love the deep knowing, the learning, the ability to walk in confidence, with a strong, healthy lean body at 60+.
