I love the Medicine ball...such a versatile little piece of equipment.
And for us 40+ women, its multi directional, mulit planar movements support tendon and
ligament health, which is really more important than our muscles at this age.
The muscles are always willing and able, but these 'connectors' tend to shorten and tighten with age.
So the proper add -in like functional work, along with proper nutrition and supplementation will keep our joins mobile and injury freel, and their lovely tendons and ligaments soft, supple and happy!
Ageing happens, so HOW we
train is super important at this age. We need to do things differently.
