There is a whole new trend of macro counting...
It's the fixation on counting protein, carbs and fats.
Because that's going to give you the perfect bod, right?
Nope.
Once again, it's wishful thinking...'If I just plug in these exact numbers, I'll get that body."
Another app. Another formula....more
counting, weighing, hoping, praying.....
'But everyone is doing it" you say. "So it must be good."

lordy, how I really dislike that mentality!
First rule of good living...do NOT follow the crowd. If the crowd is doing it, it's a great reason to NOT do it.
The key is NOT in the macros'...heck, if you eat 80 grams of protein or 120 grams of protein, it won't make any difference.
There is NO WAY of measuring it...so how do you quantify that?
And at our advancing age, we want to move into Intuitive Eating, right? Which still requires a structure, a skillset to learn (we can't just eat what we want!). But it's not based in trends or needing that sense of control that everyone seems to want.
Certainty. A guarantee.
Can we move on from that fear-bias please?
To build, lean out, age beautifully and look and feel great...THAT is what we strive for... !
