When life happens, where do you go?
For many of us, we turn to food. Others turn to shopping, botox, scrolling, online shopping....
We all have our outs.
But when those
outs keep us stuck in a loop of repeating the same negative habits (bingeing, no gym time, blaming, wine etc) that's when we need to SHIFT...
See, here's the deal...challenge is the NORM. To live with ease and flow is NOT the norm. Turmoil is where most of us live, and that's ok too. Life is hard.
For me, the last few months have been very challenging, but I created a new
'normal' years ago...and I stay on track with my food and exercise (for the most part. LOL!).
I could not possibly get through what I need to get through every day without being healthy and strong. Full stop.
Too often I hear 'I was good until such-and-such happened"...that's a habit is all, and its been reinforced by everyone around you...do you notice that?
Everyone around you says the same thing. And we feel validated in falling away because it's happening to everyone else,so it's ok.
But it's not OK. Not if we want to age well, strong, lean, confident and happy.
Be the woman who doesn't fold when the going gets tough.
Because life will always throw in
roadblocks and speedbumps in your way....this I know all too well.
And your New Way is to continue on being YOU, doing what is important and healthy for YOU!
Because YOU matter.
