Hey ,
Many women are using the gym as a weight loss tool, but this is the WRONG way to do it.
In fact, our daily energy expenditure (TDEE) breaks down this
way:
- 70% of our energy (metabolism, fule, calories) is used on just keeping us alive.
- 15% for daily tasks - shoping, washing the car, you know...
- 10% used up in structured Exercise
- 5% in the thermogenics of food
(your body's energy use to chew up and digest the food you eat).
So yes, you read that right, only 10% of our calories are burned up in the gym.
So where does this leave us? Food strategy. Managing our meals, timing, portions and macros.
And mindset...BIG time! THAT's what runs the show...and it's what I'm alllll about in my coaching philosophy!
