I❤️❤️Do you crave the simple life?
I see too many women all wrapped up in diet after diet, google searches, endlessly playing with their macros and such, all the while hoping they will find 'the' magic missing element so they can finally get it right.
BUT, they are in a habit, is all, and they are putting their happiness out on a string.
🥺🥺They are 'hustling for their worthiness' as Brene Brown says.
Are we really any further ahead than our female counterparts, our mothers and perhaps grandmothers that were all about losing weight, wanting to look a certain way?
Have we become our mothers?
🙍♀️I watched my mother weigh herself every morning for years, and that number determined whether she would have a good day or a bad day.
🙍♀️Then my sister followed suit.
I decided to never ever live from that prison. To me, it was madness.
But alot of women didn't have that 'aha' moment, and hence, they still live from the thought that their happiness and worth is dependant on their body's state.
💪It's awesome to want to change our body, to shift our habits, and to want to look and feel better. That's been my life's work.
BUT, if we start from an
overcomplicated brain, that is filled with trends and useless information (that is ALWAYS changing), it is a losing battle. And your body and spirit wear the scars of that battle.
❤️❤️Looking and feeling good, ageing well - healthy, strong, lean(er) (if that is your quest, not every woman wants to lose weight), capable and flexible - is a lovely attribute. BUT it must be rooted in self care, NOT self
recrimination.
😵💫You simply cannot create a healthy body from an unhealthy, angry, confused state.😵💫
❤️❤️Returning to simplicity and the basics frees women up from the constant chatter in their brain, dominant food thoughts, endless formulas that fill up their heads.
❤️❤️To
see them finally let go of the steering wheel, and start seeing their body shift, in ways that look and feel amazing, allows them to ease up a bit, and to being to look outward at their lives, their future.
To be so hyper focused on this diet or that, your body mishaps, disliking ageing is a distraction for many, and a habit for others.
✅Decides to live simply...fuel your
body with simple whole foods.
✅Move, train, walk, breathe, meditate....
✅There you go.
Now THAT is truly living...
