What's happening these days on social media is scary...please don't fall into this trap.
This morning, this woman popped a pic of herself that are 2 years apart. She was asking the group (like 20,000 members) if anyone saw any difference in her glutes, and if, not, what should she do?.
Some of the comments...
- I can see change, way to go.
- You need to see a doctor, you should be seeing more results than this
- Nutrition
- Your training is off
- Your macros are off
- Youre not in a 'bulk' (eating excess), you can't build unless you're in a bulk
- Up your protein
- Take creatine
- Do Single Leg glute
work
- More bulgarians
- Slow eccentrics
- Track your food
- Get a trainer
- Get a coach
- Train with someone who trains harder than you
- It might be Lipoderma, see a doctor
- You have too much bodyfat to see anything (the ONLY comment that made sense to me).
My first thought...of course, get a coach. Invest in yourself. Like really invest in a real coach. It takes time to learn
and grow, and that relationship with a coach is super important. Likely one of the most important relationships you have.
This is just 'winging it'. I wonder what this women will chose from the list to change her ways...I feel for her, but this is not a strategy. I can't help but wonder what her results would have been if she invested in a coach over this time...even for 4 or 5 months. Time and money AND heartache saver! She would be
much further ahead, AND she would learn SO MUCH MORE.....
To be straightforward, she has too much bodyfat to be able to tell...her results may be there, but it is impossible to see at this point. She is around 28% or 30% bodyfat. So does she want to slim down to see if there are any results (if not, her training is off...this isn't a food issue really), or does she want to continue to train (and train right) to alter her body
composition? Two very different paths....you can't build in a calorie deficit or if you're dieting.
Anywho.....my advise is to listen to ONE voice, ONE strategy. Create a straight line and stay with it. It is the only way to Real Change....
