When Buffy came into our Mastery Program, she was 188 lbs and had been doing keto for years.
She had a long diet history that was in the way of her getting any kind of results both physically and mentally (mindset work, baby!)
She was super frustrated and we had to get her out of her fear of carbs and into a food strategy built around her goals, lifestyle and what the 40+ woman requires.
We began by adding just a 1/2 cup of rice at dinner....this was big for her because she was in such a state of fear and control...then we slowly increased it with other carb choices.
She also had a nasty knee injury so she wasn't able to training lower body which could have spelled disaster
(she wanted to grow some lovely muscle!)
But we worked around it, with training to hit whatever we could effectively, without her knee being bothered.
She and hubby even held a garage sale to raise funds for her to dedicate to our coaching program! Hubby was a huge support (not always the case, sadly).
She sent me these pics and message yesterday...she is down 30 lbs to 148 lbs AND she is eating all foods, including carbs. She even enjoys a bit of wine.
Truly amazing.
We are all so happy for her.
