Should you train in a fasted state? Referring to not eating before training in the morning..?
It depends, but for my clients whose goals are clear, the answer is no.
COnsider
that your muscles need FUEL to get strong and shapely, but if there's no food in your system...well, the body chews up its own muscles for fuel, before it even touches the fat in your body.
In fact, it doesn't want to slip into your fat stores at all....
So we are canibalizing the very thing we DON'T want to lose as we age...muscle!
It's our look, our energy, our metabolism and our longevity, plus our immune system is dependent on muscle to be healthy and working properly!
