I recall one client, I'll call her Barbara, that was obsessed with Google searches.
I see this ALOT with women ...they come in with a head full of information, too much, actually. I call them info
junkies.
It's like they think information will lead to transformation. But rarely does this happen. And it is confusing them!
So when I constructed a Mastery Food and Movement Plan for Barbara, she was always procrastinating...
She wanted to discuss cortisol issues, insulin resistance, carb
sensitivity, even PCOS....she felt that she had one or all of these, which is why she couldn't lose the body weight. When it came to me asking about her food and training...she would skip past it... 'I already know about that' (she knew but she didn't do).
Tending to food and training is, well, it's work and it's not sexy. 'I know all of that' is what I often hear. But usually their
head is filled with TOO much info. Yet there seems to be a control feature there...'the more I know, the more in control I feel' is a subconsious thinking habit, that is often there as a form of procrastination.
So remember ladies...
✅Get your hormones checked.
✅Get your macros/food in
line (whole foods 90% of the time).
✅Stop eating out (or limit to one meal, once a week).
✅Cook and eat your own food.
✅Keep steady on weekends too.
✅Spend time in nature every day (without your phone)
✅Read, journal,
breathe...
✅Move your body with structured strength training to hit all 9 muscle groups with intention....your muscle is leaving your 40+ body FAST!
👀And do take a look at your internal talk that may be keeping you away from your body and health goals. 👀
Just remember, everything is an
inside job.
So start there....
