Let me check in.....Can you get up off the floor without grabbing onto something, or resting on your knee or other
support?
Seriously, getting up from the floor with ease and little support is mandatory for healthy ageing. I found myself getting stiffer with time, and sometimes grab onto something to help...that was when it hit me...I'm ageing like my mother. Slowly, albeit, but it's happening....uh oh!
Too many women can't
easily get up off a chair or even the toilet, without grab bars, counter holds or putting their hands on their knees to push. This is NOT what Healthy Ageing is supposed to look and feel like.
I see it in my poor mother...it happened slowly over time...
I've moved into Mobility Work because of the tightness and
body pain that slips in with ageing (and I'm pretty fit! Just not in this way though). And I have a mom that lives life from a wheelchair....NO WAY! We need to reteach our bodies 'healthy movement patterns' and retrain our body and nervous system!
Lifetime access and if you use the code COMMUNITY50 with this link, you get it 50% off. Less than $40!
And I'm working it at the same time...I'm in their SKOOL community, learning and growing with the rest of the
40, 50, 60+ people all working on their Mobility!
