Are your Hormones Happy??

HORMONES are a BIG issue, but sadly,  women don't talk about them much. I figured if we talked about it over wine, or coffee, like men talk about sports over a beer, then we'd be WAY further ahead...

PICTURE THIS....two ladies meet for coffee....

"Hey, nice to see you. How are your hormones this week?"
"Oh, not very good, I've been flashing a lot."
"Yeah, me too. Lordy, gotta remember to take my estrogen."
"Yeah, and I almost lost it on my son the other day. "Progesterone-up mom", he said!"
"Any my adrenals are feeling a bit shaky. Might have to re-look at my DHEA levels again.."
"Yeah, and I think my testosterone has bottomed out again...I can always tell! My mood, my body, ugh!"
"Oh boy, for sure, and hubby was cranky this week, the dryness thing and all....got some goods for that...working really, really well too!"

November is ALL about hormone-talk in my monthly Warrior Woman Fitness program, where we remove the veils, and talk in earnest about hormones!

I have an awesome set of interviews with a hormone specialist! (who is female, yay!) and who will talk to us about the difference between bio identical HRT, synthetic HRT (the usual standard), herbs, homeopathy, naturopathy, signs and symptoms, disease prevention and more.

"But I'm not in menopause yet, and I have no symptoms'.  Good for you, but you will be, and you will experience them, and besides, we are talking hormones, NOT necessarily menopause, as our hormones shift in our mid thirties, and all sorts of things happen, things we didn't even put down to shifting hormones, really: added weight gain, foggy thinking, low moods, intolerance to stress...

It's a delicate, hidden dance at times, and as with anything, understanding and awareness is key. Because my mom never taught me any of this (they didn't even understand it themselves, really). And I've been researching and working with my own hormonal profile for 20 years.

- DHEA, estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, cortisol, insulin, adrenal health, thyroid health....we'll be breaking all this down into workable, easily understood terms, and showing you the real research. Then you can decide with comfort and awareness on what path, if any, to choose, and why.

Happy Healthy Hormones: Let's get REAL with our bodies! is set to start November 1st, and will unfold over the next 4 weeks. This is for my monthly Members only. (Current 10 and 12 week Challenger,s you will have access to this as well!)

Oh yeah, and we have a nice 4-day November workout, with a lovely Upper and Lower MET program for added fat burning on weight training days, and a full-day MET (metabolic enhancement training) option for another day, if you wish! It's all about providing a hand crafted physique training program, to tone, build and shed, especially made for the 40+ woman! 

Let's balance those hormones, and get back into REAL life ladies! It IS do-able! Energy, vitality, feeling balanced and peaceful, strong metabolism, shapely muscle. Because being 'older' CAN rock! (and I'm lovin' it!)
