Is Your SPIRIT healthy?

I learned a long time ago that you cannot truly be healthy unless your spirit is healthy too.

When my son was diagnosed, I lost my health (I was at the pinnacle of health, or so it seemed, winning shows, living in a lean body, lifting 5-6 days a week.) Then it happened...

I liken it to an avalanche...when I heard the news about my son's terminal diagnosis, I felt a 'crack' in my body, like when you witness an avalanche or big explosion, and it reverberates through your body. 

The news sent shock waves through my body. And for the next 6 years, I lived in constant pain, depression, and suffered the symptoms of chronic fatigue and fibromyalgia.

That began my spiritual journey, and took me to all corners of the metaphysical world, for those 6 years. It still continues today, as I live and breathe in the spiritual lessons found in those dark, confusing days.

I always ask my clients if they have a spiritual map. If they don't, I suggest strongly that they start one. It's that simple, really. And in my experience, the clients that have that grounding will always, ALWAYS fare better at any challenge. For me, I draw on it throughout the day. I call it walking with Spirit. And what a lovely way to live.

This month, in my Warrior Woman Program, we are delving into several Spiritual aspects that have helped me for over 20 years, since I first discovered this 'behind' the veil' world. I also share with my Members how I bring Spirit into my daily life, an absolute MUST for me and my needs. How I live, move through the day, even how I decorate my home, is always with Spirit in mind.

Oh yeah, and we have an awesome 4-day Split Training Workout, perfectly built for our FALL GOALS (with videos, sets, reps, suggested weights as usual!), and some MET work (metabolic enhancement training) to add shape and boost our lovely metabolisms. There's also a full on Melting MET Workout, in case you can't get to the gym. Who needs boring cardio when you can MET-up! Waaaayyy better! 

October also features an interview with Holistic Nutritionist and Coach, Cordelia McFadyen, who teaches us this month about the importance of proper digestion - what ails most of us in this day and age, what she looks for in a client, and simple daily tips that YOU can incorporate into your day to ensure your digestion ROCKS!  And our new healthy Series E-Book - Training and YOU!, (Free to members) outlines our Warrior Woman philosophies on training, and how we do it a wee bit different than the rest of the gym goers (because WE are different).
