When your whole goal is about 'weight loss', you are missing the big picture and you will never see the results.

If you've been on a diet rollercoaster for years, or yo-yoing with your weight, you have to stabilize your metabolism FIRST before you try to lose the weight. You must return to a well functioning metabolism, homeostasis, so that your body can lose the weight effectively, and keep it off. If you’re a woman over 40, you likely know what I am talking about. We’ve all been there. Many of you still ‘live’ there, sadly.

You cannot lose weight with a weak / faltering metabolism. It will revolt, you will rebound, it will add the weight back, even more than before, making it tougher to lose the next time. And around and around you go……

There is 'giving' and there is 'taking' in the equation. If you have always been taking (aka weight loss, diets. Cleanses, etc), you have not been giving enough back, the metabolic fires have just turned to smoldering embers by now. Your metabolism is confused, scared, it has pulled back. Catch my drift?

See, you have actually taught your body to gain all the lost weight back again with a vengeance, and to make it harder to lose it the next time around. Read that again: you have taught your body exactly what to do, it has listened to you faithfully! This is YOUR deal, now you have to undo it.

You must put away the food counting app too..... it simply isn't....
