Have you heard the saying 'age is just a number?
It's kinda true, in many areas of life, but when you want to lose fat, change your physique and improve your metabolism, well, age DOES matter.
Now I know it's not necessarily what you want to hear, but hear me out..there's GOOD NEWS here!
Most food plans and exercise programs that are out there today, are simply not suitable for women in their 40's, 50's, 60's and beyond.
What's popular now is the HIIT or full body circuit stuff, training 3x a week, and adding in some cardio here or there....women are moving through the program fast, like little bunnies, in hopes of melting the fat, reving up the metabolism and tightening their bodies.
But for the majority of women, it's not working.
I talk to women every day who are following this trend, and 90% of them are frustrated with their lack of results. They are truly feeling stuck!
To strengthen your metabolism (from ageing, hormones, dieting and too much cardio), to re-shape your body (like really reshape....seeing definition in your
muscles), and to shift their mindset, to support a new belief system that is based on success, takes a certain strategy that simply is not taught in today’s fitness industry (and Mr. Google sure doesn’t have an inkling of what this is about!).
After 35 years of teaching women how to claim their health, lose the weight and shape their lovely bodies, I have seen miracles happen every single day.
Because here's the truth: unless you change things up, your metabolism will slow down even more as you age, your body shape will soften (and will continue to lose muscle year after year, because that's what happens each and every day, unless you work to keep it on) and any future weight loss efforts simply won't work (in fact, you may find yourself adding more weight even though you are trying so hard to lose weight!)
And it gets harder to turn that boat around unless we do things differently!
